01Description

Active and passive leaf, with vertical rods

The active leaf is fitted with a 1970 panic bar with a 9 mm follower, a CF60 lock and an external mechanism. The inactive leaf is fitted with the same bar, with the CF32 secondary lock and vertical rods at the top and bottom.

When the bar is operated, the vertical rods are released from their hooks and held by the retainer. When the door closes, the retainer hits the strike plate and frees the movement of the rods, so that the door can close.
