Which safe fits a laptop?

The N.S.KEY SOG 26, SDG 26, KL ECO 26, DOT 26, TKL RFID, Dot 23, STO-24, NS SD-24 and NS Dot DR fit a laptop, as do the ELSAFE Elite for Laptop and the Starsafe, which is sized for a 15-inch laptop.

Can the safe open with a card?

Yes. Besides a code, the N.S.KEY TKL RFID also opens with an RFID card, and it has a touchscreen.

What is RentYourSafe?

Online rental management software for hotels that rent their safes to their guests. A new rental is created in less than 5 seconds, and the system can be connected to the hotel’s PMS. It is compatible with the TKL RFID, KL18, Starsafe and Elite.

What if the batteries run out?

Most models have a mechanical emergency override key. The Yale YYSB and YSEM also open with a 9V battery, the fire-resistant YFM/420 and YFM/520 have a 9V emergency battery option, and the N.S.KEY Safe KL ECO has an external battery socket. On models with non-volatile memory or Flash RAM, no data is lost.

Are there fire-resistant safes?

Yes, the Yale YFM/420/FG2, YFM/520/FG2 and YFM/695/FG2 XXL. The XXL offers up to 1½ hours of fire protection for documents and has a volume of 64 litres.
