What does EN 1125 certification mean?

It is the European standard for panic bars on emergency exits. TESA panic bars are EN 1125 certified, and you will find the classification code on the product pages, where available.

Surface-mounted or with a mortice lock?

Surface-mounted (rim) panic bars are fitted on the surface of the door, such as the 1910, the 1930 and the Quick series. Mortice solutions work with a mortice lock, for single or double doors.

How many locking points are there?

From one side point (1910, Quick1S) to two, top and bottom (1930, Quick20), or three side points (Quick3SL).

Can the door also be opened from outside?

Yes, with an outside device. For Mortice solutions, the outside device is chosen according to the lock type.

Are they suitable for fire doors?

The Universal series is compatible with fire doors and the Quick series is certified for them.
