Magnetic stripe and RFID, in the classic Donna design

Dual identification technology, RFID proximity and magnetic stripe: the Donna Dual combines the economy of magnetic stripe for guest cards with the advantages of RFID technology, improving the management of staff activities.

Read and write locks (R/W), compatibility with NFC (Near Field Communication) mobile phones and multi-application capability with other hotel devices, using the same credentials.

Electronic and mechanical security

  • Information is not lost when the battery fails or while it is being replaced
  • Latch with a 17 mm throw, above the highest grade set by the EN 12209 standard
  • The handle turns freely when access is not granted
  • Optional: ADB lock with an automatic projecting deadbolt, for double security
  • Optional: concealed or visible emergency cylinder
  • Optional: keypad
  • EXTREME (optional): waterproof model for all weather conditions, with sealed materials, an anti-corrosion finish, a circuit resistant to harsh conditions, an internal drainage system and CM, CR, PVD finishes, among others.

Magnetic stripe reading

  • Reads track 3: tracks 1 and 2 remain free for other applications
  • Low-coercivity (300 Oersted) or high-coercivity (4000 Oersted) cards

Proximity reading

  • Identification technology: writing and reading with 13.56 MHz contactless chip cards
  • Activation without prior contact, with low power consumption

Battery

  • Four 1.5 V alkaline batteries, such as LR6 AA
  • Estimated life: 3–4 years (30,000 cycles)
  • Batteries are easily replaced without dismantling the lock

Operating conditions

  • Humidity: up to 85% non-condensing
  • Temperature: from 0 °C to 65 °C with alkaline batteries

  • Standard door width 35–110 mm
